Essential Mental Health CME for First Responders

We have seen firsthand how repeated exposure to trauma, stress, and critical incidents can affect the mental health of those who dedicate their lives to helping others. Through our experiences as first responders, we have worked alongside many who silently struggled with stress, anxiety, burnout, and trauma-related issues.

The class is focused on PTSD awareness, stress reactions, and mental health in first responders. It helps participants understand how exposure to critical incidents and repeated stress can impact thoughts, emotions, and behavior over time.

It also teaches responders how to recognize early warning signs in themselves and others, and provides practical tools for coping, resilience, and peer support. The goal is to reduce stigma around mental health, encourage open conversation, and connect responders to available resources before issues become more severe.
